6th Application

Late Summer Broadleaf Weed & Nut Sedge Control

Application 6 is sprayed to get rid of unwanted broadleaf weeds.  This is the time of the year when the toughest and hardest to control broadleaf weeds are present.

7th Application

Slow Release Fall Fertilizer

This slow release granular fertilizer is high in nitrogen and contains ammonium sulfate nitrogen. This top shelf nitrogen will help your yard recover from the summer stress and add to the greenness we all like seeing in our yard. This application encourages root growth, and strong roots equal a stronger healthier plant.  Therefore, looking better and more drought-tolerant during the tougher times of the year.

8th Application

Winterizer Fertilizer

This application of high nitrogen is usually applied after you have put your lawn mower away for the season.  We apply this large dose of nitrogen right before the plant goes dormant.  The plant recognizes that the temperatures are dropping and will take in this potent food and store it with the roots of the plant. This application is what sets the foundation for the following year.  This round is why some lawns “pop” in the spring sooner then others.
